The Polyhydron DES 10, DES 20 – Solenoid Pilot Operated Pressure Holding D.C.V. are solenoid pilot-operated pressure holding directional control valves designed for single-acting cylinders that require reliable pressure holding. They are especially suitable for applications like rubber moulding presses.

These valves ensure smooth decompression before the return of the cylinder ram, improving system safety and performance. They are available in both standard and quick exhaust versions, where the quick exhaust option offers 2.34 times larger return oil passages for faster operation. The large return passages allow the ram to return even under low external forces.

For added reliability, the valves are equipped with a manual override feature for operation during power failures. Multiple valves can be connected in series for independent control of multiple single-acting cylinders, and operation is achieved through a solenoid-controlled pilot mechanism.
