PSLF, PSVF and SLFV-Proportional directional spool valve types
The HAWE PSLF, PSVF, and SLFV (often designated as SLF) series are high-performance, modular proportional directional spool valves that operate on the load-sensing (LS) principle. They are primarily engineered for mobile hydraulics—such as cranes, construction machinery, drilling equipment, and marine technology—allowing for precise, simultaneous, and load-independent control of multiple hydraulic functions at full speed.

About this item
The proportional directional spool valve type PSLF is suitable for constant pump systems and type PSVF is for variable pump systems. They are available as single manifold mounting valves or in a valve bank. The flow rates and LS pressure limitation for the individual consumers can be individually adjusted. PSLF and PSVF can be adapted to various control tasks, e.g. for safety functions. All sizes can be combined with each other.
| Model Type | System Pump Compatibility | Mounting Configuration | Max Pressure | Max Section Flow | Key Function |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| PSLF | Constant / Fixed Displacement Pumps | Flange / Sub-plate | 420 bar | 1,000 L/min (Inlet) | Central inlet section with pressure relief for open-center systems. |
| PSVF | Variable Displacement Pumps | Flange / Sub-plate | 420 bar | 1,000 L/min (Inlet) | Central inlet section with LS-controller for closed-center systems. |
| SLFV / SLF | N/A (Receives oil from inlet block) | Sandwich / Modular Section | 420 bar | 500 L/min (Consumer) | Individual valve segment controlling one specific cylinder or motor. |
