MPPM 06 – Pilot Operated Pressure REDUCING Valve (Modular Construction)
The Polyhydron MPPM 06Â is a pilot-operated, modular (stackable) pressure-reducing valve designed for vertical stacking assemblies. It is primarily used to maintain a constant, lower pressure in a sub-circuit of a hydraulic system, regardless of pressure fluctuations in the main circuit.
- Operating Pressure : High Performance Range
- Application : Industrial & Mobile Systems
About this item
The Polyhydron Pilot Operated Pressure REDUCING Valve (Modular Construction) – MPPM 06 is a pilot-operated pressure reducing valve with modular construction, designed for vertical stacking assemblies in hydraulic systems. It ensures stable and precise downstream pressure control while enabling compact and efficient circuit design.
The valve conforms to ISO 4401-AB-03-04-A, IS 10187, and DIN 24340 interface standards, allowing easy integration. It is available in four models to suit different application requirements. For cartridge valve details, refer to P09605.

- Pressure Adjustment:Â The setting is adjusted by loosening a lock nut and turning a set screw clockwise to increase the pressure.
- Leakage: While in operation, there is a nominal leakage flow at the ‘T’ (tank) port of approximately 0.4 l/min.
- Reverse Flow: Free reverse flow is possible, provided the pressure does not exceed 90% of the valve’s set pressure.
- Stacking:Â Its modular construction allows it to be easily integrated into vertical hydraulic stacks, often used underneath direction control valves.
